The codebase is written in the Python programming language and uses the Django web framework under the hood. It also uses Slack's Bolt framework for interacting with the Slack API, including OAuth authentication.
The boilerplate uses Polar to handle payments and subscriptions. Polar provides a layer on top of Stripe, acting as a Merchant of Record so that you, the developer, have less accounting headaches to worry about.
